Abstract

The paper proposes a new gamified learning model that enhances engagement, learning performance and accessibility of learners with various cognitive and behavioral issues. The system proposed incorporates the main elements of user-friendly accessible interface, gamification engine, adaptive learning module, content management system and data analytics layer to develop personalized and interactive learning environment. The framework will have some elements of a game that will enable it to motivate the learners by offering those points, badges, levels, and real-time feedback to keep them interested. The adaptive learning module also allows dynamically changing the difficulty of the content according to the performance of the learner, so that the individual learning paths are formed. The features of accessibility that include voice assistance, visual aids and simplified interfaces are integrated to accommodate students with conditions like autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and mild cognitive impairment. A comparative method, involving experimental study between the traditional learning methods and the proposed gamified system was carried out. The findings show that there are great improvements in all parameters, and engagement and better learning outcomes were seen in the gamified setting. In case studies also confirm the usefulness of the framework in practice, emphasizing the possibility to adjust it to the needs of diverse learners and offer them a favourable learning process. The results prove that, with adaptive and accessible design principles, the gamified educational tools can drastically change special education by making the learning process more engaging, inclusive, and effective. The framework proposed gives a scalable solution that may be applied in different educational settings such as in classroom and remote learning settings.
