The Influence of University Green Entrepreneurial Support and Green Knowledge Transfer on University Students’ Green Entrepreneurial Intention Through Environmental Awareness

Abstract

With increasing emphasis on environmental preservation, researchers have identified green entrepreneurial intention as a key driver and foundation of green entrepreneurial success. However, the mechanisms that foster university students' green entrepreneurial intention remain underexplored in existing literature. This study proposes that university green entrepreneurial support and green knowledge transfer are critical antecedents for enhancing students' green entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, the study broadens the scope by introducing the moderating role of environmental awareness in these relationships. The study samples students in a Vietnam university (N = 508) by using the survey method, and the five-point Likert scale is used for this purpose. The results indicate that both university green entrepreneurial support and green knowledge transfer significantly enhance students' green entrepreneurial intentions.
