Abstract
This study analyzes the concept and characteristics of personal entrepreneurial skills from the perspectives of leadership and innovation, and explains their role in fostering adaptive and innovative leadership within organizations. Employing a qualitative library research method, data were collected from relevant scientific sources including national and international journal articles, academic books, research reports, and publications from international institutions. Descriptive qualitative analysis was conducted through identifying, classifying, and synthesizing key concepts from the selected literature. The results reveal that personal entrepreneurial skills encompass self-control, discipline, creativity, risk management, perseverance, networking ability, and strategic thinking. From a leadership perspective, these skills manifest as entrepreneurial leadership characterized by strategic vision, proactive behavior, team motivation, and courage to seize innovative opportunities. From an innovation perspective, they encourage innovative thinking and strengthen creative self-efficacy, supporting innovative work behavior. The study concludes that integrating personal entrepreneurial skills with entrepreneurial leadership enables individuals and organizations to transform ideas into concrete actions that generate added value. The novelty lies in systematically synthesizing personal entrepreneurial skills as a dual-framework bridging leadership and innovation, offering an integrated perspective rarely addressed in existing literature. Practically, the findings suggest that organizations should prioritize developing these skills to promote sustainable innovation and enhance competitiveness. This study contributes to entrepreneurship and leadership literature by providing a conceptual foundation for understanding how personal entrepreneurial skills drive adaptive and innovative leadership in response to global economic and digital transformations.
