The Effect of Flipped Learning Strategy on Improving Jordanian EFL Learners’ Writing Achievement

Abstract

The study aims at measuring the impact of flipped learning strategy (FLS) on improving EFL learners' writing achievement. The researcher selected a sample of 100 EFL students at Al-Balqa Applied University in Jordan. The researcher divided the participants into experimental group and control group. The researcher used a pre-test to achieve equivalence and a post-test after implementing the treatment to find out which strategy is more effective. The results of the study indicated that FLS is more effective in teaching essay writing. The study suggested a number of implications for future research.
