Abstract

This research formulates a strategic approach to guidance and counseling services aimed at enhancing student well-being in an Islamic educational setting. Data were produced by semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis encompassing school administrators, counselors, educators, and students. The examination combined strategic management methodologies with the characteristics of school well-being: having, loving, being, and health. The results suggest that successful guidance and counseling services necessitate a methodical assessment of student requirements, integrated institutional backing, constructive interpersonal connections, avenues for personal growth, suitable educational settings, and ongoing psychological and health assistance. Strategic efficacy is contingent upon the amalgamation of needs assessment, service planning, collaborative execution, oversight, and ongoing evaluation, rather than on discrete remedial actions. Theoretically, the research enhances the school well-being framework by situating guidance and counseling as an ingrained institutional mechanism that links diverse student needs with effective educational administration. The results offer a systematic foundation for educational institutions to reconfigure counseling services to focus on preventive, developmental, integrative, and sustainable support for students.
