The Educational Role of the Ministry of Education in Achieving Job Satisfaction from the Perspective of Secondary School Teachers in the Al-Baha Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the educational role of the Ministry of Education in achieving job satisfaction from the perspective of secondary school teachers in the Al-Baha region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Based on these research variables, the theoretical literature was reviewed, and a descriptive methodology was employed on a sample of 100 male and female secondary school teachers in the Al-Baha region. The research instruments were administered to the sample, and the results showed that the study sample's assessment of the Ministry of Education's educational role, specifically educational planning, in achieving job satisfaction was above average, both overall and across the sub-aspects. The sub-aspects were ranked according to the importance of the educational role, particularly educational planning. Statistically significant differences were found between the average responses of the study sample regarding the Ministry of Education's educational role. The research recommends supporting the Ministry of Education's educational role, specifically its planning function, in achieving job satisfaction for secondary school teachers through school administrations and those responsible for education in the regions.
