Intelligent Cyber-Physical Framework for Urban Flood Forecasting, Risk Assessment, and Resilience Planning
Main Article Content
Abstract
Urban flooding is one of the essential problems of the urbanization of the Earth’s landmasses. The traditional methods of flood management systems are lacking. The proposed system utilizes artificial intelligence to create a digital twin system for the management and mitigation of urban flooding. This system collects data from the environment using internet of things (IoT) devices, remote sensing, weather systems and flood models. Artificial intelligence algorithms such as deep learning, spatiotemporal modelling and predictive analytics are utilized to create predictions for flooding and mitigation strategies. The advantages of using this system will allow urban planning and management to create better emergency management and infrastructure plans for urban areas. The digital twin system can revolutionize flood management for urban areas to create a system that minimizes the damage of flooding and creates sustainable cities for the future.
