Information Systems Model of E-District Services in Manipur: An Empirical Study Using Delone and Mclean Model

Abstract

The study evaluates the e-District services in selected districts of Manipur using DeLone and McLean Information System Model. Data was collected from the Common Service Centres who are using the e-District portal for availing the services. Data was analysed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling. Results found that service quality significantly influences satisfaction while system quality and information do not influence satisfaction. System quality and satisfaction were also found to influence behavioral intention to use e-District services while information quality and service quality do not influence behavioral intention to use. It is also found that both satisfaction and intention to use significantly influence net benefit. Further, results also reveal that the three quality parameters- system quality, information quality and service quality explained 64.6% of the variance in satisfaction (R2 = 0.646) and 41.3% that of behavioral intention to use (R2 = 0.413).
