The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing Educational Outcomes: An Applied Study on Government Schools in the Wilayat of Sohar

Abstract

This study examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing educational outcomes in government schools in the Wilayat of Sohar. A quantitative research methodology was employed, utilizing a survey distributed to 200 educational staff members. The study focused on three main dimensions of AI: personalized learning, teacher support, and administrative efficiency, alongside their impact on students' academic performance, equity in education, and teaching quality. Results indicated that AI significantly improves academic performance, administrative efficiency, and teacher support. However, its role in reducing educational gaps and fostering student engagement requires further enhancement. The study recommends expanding digital infrastructure, providing teacher training, and developing more inclusive AI tools.
